Easy to Create. Hard to Maintain. Impossible to Delete.

Every API endpoint you expose. Every feature you ship. Every config option you add. There will always be the one user that wants it. You'll find yourself maintaining the smaller things. Of course, it's easier with AI these days, but it will bloat the number of lines of code you have to maintain even more.

At a certain stage, if you survive long enough, you'll eventually end up in maintenance mode. You won't be able to prototype so freely. But that's fine, it's a 'tax' you pay - one that makes you stronger. And you'll see mistakes you made early on that you wouldn't make again.

Keep pushing. Don't give up if it's getting hard.
